The Marriage of a Broken Family, Saltair Series, Book 7
I had waited twenty years for my prodigal children to resurrect me, to unghost me. Then it happened and it wasn’t like I thought it would be; it wasn’t clean or quick, but slow and painful. It was miraculous regardless, because to the hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet.
Boomer Love is a story of emotional blackmail, past sins and hurts, film making, sex, and romcom happy endings. It’s the loneliness of parenthood, and then finally celebrating a child’s wedding that includes the ex and the ‘other woman.’ But showing up at that wedding with a movie star on my arm doesn’t hurt, either.
Ultimately, it’s a story of faith, hope and love. Boomer Love: The Marriage of a Broken Family is a stand-alone novel, Book 7 in the Saltair series. It’s a late-in-midlife love story about a torrid marriage that leaves us wondering if our happily-ever-after couple will finally ride away into the sunset.
